My spouse is much cooler than me. While the algorithm has determined my social media feeds should be loaded with business-related videos mixed with the occasional parenting meme, my spouse’s feed is just plain funny. These suggested posts and videos range from random yet informative (think life hacks and recipe ideas) to make-you-spit-out-your-toothpaste funny stuff. Perhaps because humor is almost always trending, my spouse also knows what’s “in” at any given moment.
That’s how I heard about this trend that pops up each October of replacing your own version of scary to complete this phrase: “It’s a haunted house but ___.” So of course this had to be applied to so many parts of what we do here at Sonlight Cleaning Services! Without further adieu, the lineup (plus a little commentary on each so you don’t get *too* scared):
It’s a haunted house but… none of the bathroom soap dispensers work.
We’ve all been there. You “use the facilities” in a public place and, whether it’s clean or dirty, you feel the almost-compulsive need to wash your hands. One of the most valuable ways the Sonlight Cleaning Services team proactively promotes good hygiene is by ensuring that all dispensers are filled (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, fragrance machines) when we service each restroom.
It’s a haunted house but… every trash bin is overflowing and there’s trash in every hallway.
Taking out the trash seems like a thankless job but we guarantee you’ll thank us when this “horror story” never comes to life in your office, church, educational facility, financial institution, or warehouse. For high traffic buildings, we often recommend a day porter service so that trash receptacles are always ready to receive refuse.
It’s a haunted house but… the floor is dirty and no one can find a mop.
Can you feel that sensation of your shoe gripping the floor even as you read that headline? Nobody wants to walk down a hallway only to experience the “fwip, fwip, fwip” of sticky floors at every step. The Sonlight Cleaning team is trained to clean every type of flooring. From VCT and LVT to commercial carpeting, tile, marble, and beyond, we’ve got you covered.
It’s a haunted house but… every door handle is visibly covered with fingerprints.
We all know that doorknobs are one of the most concentrated places for germs to accumulate. But it’s easy to forget this fact when it’s invisible. Nothing is more irksome than reaching for a handle that has visible smudges on it. Doorknobs are one of the places where frequent sanitizing is essential to reduce the spread of illness in your place of business.
Are you scared yet? When you have the Sonlight Cleaning Services team on your side, there’s no need to fear! We’ve got you covered, and we’ve done so for our clients in the greater DFW area for over 30 years. Give us a call today and talk with a client care specialist about getting on our calendar before one of these frightful scenarios becomes reality in your facility!
