For Sadie Wampler, the bidding that took place at the 2023 Fort Worth Stock Show will be a memory she won’t soon forget. This fifteen year old high school student’s 1,343 pound steer “Snoop Dog” was named the Grand Champion during the Junior Sale of Champions on February 4th. The winning bid for this impressive steer was a record-breaking $440,00 (more than $100,000 over last year’s winner).
It’s safe to say there was some excitement in the room when the bidding was in full swing!
