You Want to Know Who to Call

I met with some misfortune recently. My family owns a small travel trailer for camping trips that we keep at a nearby storage facility. An unexpected phone call from the storage place revealed that a break-in had occurred and five trailers had been burglarized, ours included. We sadly surveyed the damage from the forced entry, took stock of what had been stolen, and then (as though adding insult to injury) spent the next several days on hold with our insurance company, plodding our way through one obnoxious automated system after the next.
When something unexpected happens, you want to know who to call. And by that I mean: you want to know who you’re calling. A robot on an automated system is not who you want to talk to in a stressful situation. You don’t want to be like we were with our insurance company — a faceless person on hold, just waiting for the “next available representative” to finally answer the phone!
Sonlight Cleaning Services is a commercial cleaning company in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex that believes in working with people. We’ve been around 30 years and built a lot of relationships with facilities managers in and around the DFW area. We like to put faces to names.
When our client care specialists work with you to create a written contract, you can expect that they will go over every point of the agreement at the time the bid is awarded. This contract will include items you probably expect, such as:
- Bid contract period
- Renewal procedures
- Cancellation clause
- Security requirements
- Payment procedures
- Cleaning Schedule
A couple of items also included that you may not expect are emergency contact numbers and a breakdown of emergency prices (per job). We hope you never have to call those emergency numbers. But when a toilet overflows, a pipe bursts, or — God forbid — a break-in occurs and you find yourself in a logistical and physical mess, we want you to have those things in hand. You can expect a real person when you call.
At first glance, it may not seem significant to have an emergency contact number and an emergency price list from your commercial cleaning company. But when the unexpected happens, at Sonlight Cleaning Services we believe it’s important that you know who to call and won’t be handed an unexpected and exorbitant bill afterwards. You’ve had enough surprises!
